How to know the real diamond

Diamond is the most precious mineral in the world. Diamond is made of an element called Carbon. But it is also a mineral. Diamond is the hardest mineral or substance in the world. The graphic, as we called the writing pencil also made of Carbon. But what is the difference between them? The difference is in the chemical structure in them. The Diamond is formed in ultramafic rocks.

How Diamond is formed on the earth?

Diamond absolutely comes from the Kimberlite rocks deep in the Mantle. It comes out of the surface with a formation of Dike. It comes to the surface and is found in placer deposits. Placer deposits in the secondary deposits for the diamonds. The Diamond concentration of the earth is only 1% of the kimberlite rocks.

Where is the main Country of Production of diamonds in the world?

Only a few countries in the world, Diamond can be originated. The main Countries of origin of Diamonds are;

  1. Sub Sharan African Countries; Botswana, South Africa,  Angola, Namibia
  2. Russia
  3. Canada
  4. Australia
  5. Others

How to Explore the Diamond?

The main method of exploration of a diamond is the gravity or the Magnetic method because kimberlite contains Magnetite and higher specific gravity so, is sharply distinguish from the surrounding rock. some other methods like EM surveys are used to identify the host rocks of Diamond. The main indicator of the diamond is to found Kims (Granet, Chromite, Ilmenite, Clinopyroxene, Olivine, and Zircon.)

The Characteristics for which the value of a Diamond Depends on?

Are the laboratory Diamonds good for you? It may be! But the natural diamond is a really high price. The diamond is very rare to form and to find. It is excellent to look at and the hardest mineral in the world. Some are so worthy diamonds found in the mine.

  1. 603 Carat (1 carat = 200mg)  Diamond worth of $12.36 million from Letseng in 2006
  2. 493 Carat Diamond worth $10.4 million from Letseng in 2007
  3. 152 Carat Diamond worth 4.6 million from Orange River in 2006

For engagement rings, Diamonds are the best present. The Diamond can be made in a lab as a Lab-made diamond. or synthetic diamonds.

The diamond price varies with the basic four main Cherescetertics is 4’C.

4’C denotes Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat Weight.

So, the higher the carat weight, the higher the price. The cutting surface of the diamonds is important for the light reflection from that diamonds. Because the cut is elongated then the light will not reflect 100%. It means the lower the quality.

The clarity is the impurity of the diamond means some minerals are included inside the diamonds. If the inclusion is higher then lowers the diamond price. It ranges from Flawless, Internally Flawless, (Very Very Slightly) VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1, I2, and I3. Among these clarity types VVS1, VVS2, VS1, and VS2, is the best choice of interest.

If there is an inclusion then the bright color of the Diamond change to pink, blue, and others. The pink diamond is one of the most rear and highest worth so far.
