হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে ইস্তাম্বুলের উদ্দেশ্যে আমরা রওনা শুরু করলাম। আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট টার্কিশ এয়ারলাইন্স এ বাংলাদেশ থেকে যারা ইউরোপের বিভিন্ন দেশ এবং ইংল্যান্ডের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দেবে তাদের এই ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফ্লাইট ইস্তাম্বুল যাত্রা বিরতি করতে হয়। আমরা যখন যাত্রা করি তখন আন্তর্জাতিক একটি প্লেনে করে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে আমরা যাত্রা শুরু করলাম। হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে পাসপোর্ট হাতে নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে হয় এরপরে চেকিং এর পরে বিমানবন্দরের ভিতরে বিরাট ডিসপ্লে বোর্ড ফ্লাইট এর সময়সূচি দেওয়া থাকে। যাত্রীদের টিকিটের একটি ফটোকপি অবশ্যই হাতে রাখতে হবে তবে বোর্ডিং পাস পাওয়ার আগ পর্যন্ত পাসপোর্ট এবং টিকেট ই যথেষ্ট। আমরা যথারীতি বোর্ডিং পাস পেয়ে গেলাম এবং লাগেজ আমরা ইস্যু করার পরে বিমানের জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে থাকলাম। এরপরে ইমিগ্রেশন বার হয়ে আরও একটি সিকিউরিটি চেক সম্পন্ন করে যথারীতি বিমানের ওয়েটিং রুমে অপেক্ষা করতে থাকলাম। যথাসময়ে বিমান আসলো। বিমানে প্রবেশ করলাম ।
টার্কিশ এয়ারলাইন্স একটি অত্যাধুনিক এয়ারলাইন্স কোম্পানি তাদের পর্যাপ্ত সুযোগ সুবিধা রয়েছে ।বিমানের মধ্যে খাবার পরিবেশন করলেন। বিমানের ভিতরে প্রবেশ করে ইংল্যান্ড মেয়েকে দেখতে পেলাম। বাংলাদেশ ইংল্যান্ডের একটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পড়তে যাচ্ছে। মেঘের উপর দিয়ে আমরা চলতে থাকলাম। তুরস্কের ইস্তাম্বুল এয়ারর্পোট একটি অত্যাধুনিক এবং আমরা 10 ঘন্টা যাত্রা শেষে ইস্তাম্বুল এয়ারর্পোট পৌছালাম। যাত্রা টি সুন্দর ছিল বিমানের ভিতরের গান শোনা মুভি দেখার জন্য একটি করে হেড ফোন এবং এয়ারকন্ডিশনের ঠান্ডা অনুভূতির জন্য কম্বল দিয়ে থাকে। ইস্তাম্বুল এয়ারর্পোট সত্যিই একটি অত্যাধুনিক এয়ারপোর্ট ।
এয়ারপোর্টে আমাদের দুই ঘন্টা যাত্রা বিরতি শেষে বিমানবন্দরের ভিতরে একটু ঘোরাঘুরি করার সুযোগ পেলাম। বিমানবন্দরের আধুনিক প্রযুক্তিতে সমৃদ্ধ এবং বিখ্যাত পৃথিবী বিখ্যাত নায়ক আলেকজান্ডার দি গ্রেট তার একটি পূর্ণ মূর্তি ইস্তাম্বুল এয়ারপোর্টের ভিতরে স্থাপন করা রয়েছে। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে এয়ারপোর্টে মানুষ যাত্রা বিরতি এবং পরবর্তী ফ্লাইট এর জন্য যাত্রা বিরতি করতে হয়। বিভিন্ন ধরনের মানসম্পন্ন প্রসাধনী সামগ্রী ও অন্যান্য জিনিসপত্র কেনাকাটা করার সুযোগ আছে সেখানে। সত্যি অসাধারণ এক্সপ্রেস এলিভেটর বয়স্ক সাধারণ যাত্রীদের জন্য লোকমোটর এবং ছোট ছোট জিপ গাড়ি গুলো সুন্দর দেখতে।
