IHE Delft Institute for Water Education invites you to the New Sudan Water Conference titled “Bridging Divides: Water, Innovation, and Development” to be held at IHE Delft.

Sudanese alumni who graduated with IHE Delft MSc degrees in Water and Sustainable Development in October 2023 will present their research findings in three sessions revolving around the GERD, Digital Innovation Opportunities in the Gezira scheme, and a discussion panel bridging the gap between research and decision-making.

The conference offers a platform for knowledge sharing among researchers in water sciences in Sudan, the Netherlands, and globally.

We would like to invite you and your contacts to participate in the New Sudan Water Conference titled ‘Bridging Divides: Water, Innovation and Development’ on 19 December 2023, from 9:00 to 16:00 CET. The event will take place online and in person at IHE Delft.

During the conference, the new IHE Delft alumni from Sudan, who just graduated from the MSc program in Water and Sustainable Development, will present their thesis and research findings through three distinctive sessions revolving around the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), digital innovation opportunities in the Gezira scheme and a discussion panel bridging the gap between research and decision making.

The conference aims to exchange knowledge among researchers in water sciences in Sudan, the Netherlands, and globally.
