The monthly stipend is ¥145,00/month for the Master’s course.  For the doctoral course: ¥146,000/month. The total program duration is 1.5 Years.

Teacher Training Students Program:

The age limit is under 35 years. the field of scholarship is Education. For other requirements; the university or teacher training college graduates who have over 5 years of experience as (1)teachers in active service of primary or secondary schools in their home countries, or (2)teachers in teacher training schools (excluding universities) in their home countries are suitable for the application. The total duration is Up to 1.5 years. The monthly stipend is ¥143,000 per month.

Undergraduate Students Program:

The age limit is under 25.

The fields of study are (1) Social Sciences and Humanities:

A: Law, Politics, Pedagogy, Sociology, Literature, History, Japanese Language, and others

B: Economics, Business Administration, and others

(2)Natural Sciences:

A: Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), Electric & Electronic Studies (Electronics, Electrical Eng., Information Eng.), Mechanical Studies (Mechanical Eng., Naval Architecture), Civil Eng., and Architecture (Civil Eng., Architecture, Environmental Eng.), Chemical Studies (Applied Chemistry, Chemical Eng., Industrial Chemistry, Textile Eng.), Other fields (Metallurgical Eng., Mining Eng., Maritime Engineering, Biotechnology).

B: Agricultural Studies (Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Eng., Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Food Science, Fisheries) Hygienic Studies(Pharmacy, Hygienics, Nursing),  Science (Biology).

C: Medicine, Dentistry

The application must have to meet one of the following conditions:

(1 ) Must have completed 12 years of school education or prospect

(2) Must have completed an educational course at a school equivalent to a high school or prospect.

(3) Other than the qualifications in sections (1) and (2) above, must have qualifications deemed to be suitable for enrollment in a Japanese university at the time of application. The monthly stipend is ¥117,000 (Additional stipend for the designated area).

The total duration is 5 years. (7 years: Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Pharmaceutical. For Sciences of the 6-year system). All the students must have to get Japanese language training after arriving in Japan from the enrolled university or another school. The successful students can get one round trip ticket free.

The age limit is under 25.

The field of study is Mechanical Eng., Electrical and Electronic Eng., Information, Communication and Network Eng., Materials Eng., Architecture and Civil Eng., Maritime Eng., and Other Fields. The applicant must have completed 11 years of schooling or will meet the above condition. (2) Other than the above (1) condition, applicants who are eligible for transfer admission to a third-year course at a college of technology at the time of application. The study duration is 4 years or (4.5 years: Maritime Eng.)

Specialized Training College Students program:

The study area is (1) Technology (2) Personal Care and Nutrition (3) Education and Welfare (4) Business (5) Fashion and Home Economics (6) Culture and General Education.

Those who meet one of the following conditions can apply (1) Must have completed 12 years of school education or prospect. 2) Must have completed an educational course at a school equivalent to a high school or prospect  (3) Other than the qualifications in (1) and (2) above, must have qualifications deemed to be suitable for enrollment in a postsecondary course at a specialized training college at the time of application. The program duration is 3 years.

Japanese Studies Students Program:

The age limit is from 18 to 30. The area of study is Japanese Studies (Japanese language, Affairs, and Culture). The applicants must be undergraduates at foreign (non-Japanese) universities majoring in fields related to the Japanese language or Japanese culture at the time of arriving and leaving Japan. The program duration is up to 1 year.

IGPAS: (International Graduate Program for applied science):
